As one of Southpoint’s original signings, Brighton’s Bushbaby has been making tidal waves in and around the UK bass scene. With a string of regular features on the label, he has already proven he can set pace with some of the heavyweights in the scene, collecting DJ support from UK bass giants such as Marcus Nasty and My Nu Leng.

On a production level, Bushbaby is one of the most versatile faces in bassline, being easily able to traverse new styles and concepts, as can be heard on his most recent solo EP ‘The Illusive’. His sound is always developing and advancing, but you can always tell a Bushbaby composition from the extremely creative sound design and energetic percussive elements that pulsate through every recording.
